About Todd Walkenhorst
T-Walk Creative was started as a small venture to create internet video content for an online educational site. Soon, Todd began receiving many requests to do small projects for other people as well. We soon found out that small businesses and families were looking for someone to help them put together small video and media projects, but did not want to pay for the high end commercial video production services. Thus T-Walk Creative was born.
Todd Walkenhorst has spent over 15 years in the broadcast industry. Originally pursuing a freelance on-air radio and television sports play-by-play career, Todd was a part of several area sports broadcasts, including radio time on the
Nebraska Sports Network and also serving as the first television play-by-play announcer of
University of
Nebraska-Omaha hockey in 1997.
Todd’s career path took a major turn in 1998 when he was offered a position on the Kansas City Chief’s football staff as a video assistant. After one season, Todd moved west to take the Assistant Video Director position with the Seattle Seahawks football staff, as Mike Holmgren was putting together his new staff. During the next six years, Todd was fortunate to learn quite a bit about video technology and make some extraordinary contacts. In early 2005, Todd took the opportunity to return home to
Omaha and help a startup digital sports video company get off the ground. In the last 4 years, Todd has helped reshape GamePlan Technologies into one of the nation’s leaders in new sports and broadcast technologies. Also, he has been a part of product development in helping design some of the next generation video and digital asset management archiving systems for not only sports, but broadcast, corporate, educational and medical markets.
